So, before the whole SOPA crap went afloat, I DID post a journal entry saying I would possibly be back!...That's a lie-ish. Some...things...have gotten complicated outside of MB for me, both personally and academically. While I'm struggling to catch up on academics, I've been going through months of reflections that has ultimately squashed my artistic/creative fire.
Fortunately, the fire won't be permanently extinguished. Unfortunately? It'll take a large amount of effort to set it aflame again, and I'm getting minor progresses here and there, but nothing enough to keep it lighted.
What does this mean? It means no real artwork of any kind coming from me, possibly, and no real activity (artistically or not) either. It's...actually kind of getting really difficult for me to motivate myself to do anything around here nowadays, but I DO visit as often as I can! They're just...ghost visits, really. Y'know, behind-the-scenes kind? I only really get on enough to chat with Teammates about gallery works n' such. *sigh*
I will still respond to any private messages, though, so if you ever need help from me, don't be afraid to throw one into my inbox! I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
But until then, wish me luck on my voyage, I suppose?
[EDIT: Y'know how I said my artistic/creative fire got squashed and was incredibly hard to set aflame again? YEAH. ABOUT THAT. LMAO. Literally, the day after I posted this journal, I was struck with this sudden urge to DRAW, so I did...but they're just incomplete doodles, so I won't post them. BUT, BUT what I DID post is the last two chapters of Diamantes! OMFG! LAWL, yeah, I suddenly defeated my writer's block and FINALLY finished the story! I FEEL SO HAPPY............and yet sad. ;___; Omfg, it's done. Ahhhhhhhh~!!!
And of course, I'm procrastinating heavily on my homework while I'm at it...and here I was hoping to actually get some homework done. lol; Aye. Don't worry, though, I'm not expecting to be anymore productive for a good while...at least, that's what I'm hoping. I dunno, my muse is a fickle TEASER. ]
Well I'm just glad you found time to finish what you wanted and without neglecting the important things. You did a great job with the writing and I'm already interested in the 'doodles' you speak so mysteriously of. I'm happy your so energetic and exited ^^ and don't worry about taking long on something, you don' t have an editor to torment...yet >_>

True your not in shigure's league of tormenting people yet *shot* XP but you deserve to be i think, but i know what you mean, that niggling thoughts. don't let them bother you too much ^^ slow and steady wins the something somthing i forget.

Relax. You'll get over it, eventually. All creative types from writers to web designers, to musicians have periods of down-time. The good news is that your subconscious uses this time to Refill your imagination in preparation for your next creative bout. The bad news is that those periods can be a short as a few days, to as long as a few YEARS.
The trick to not letting it get the best of you is to do something completely different and FUN to help your subconscious refill.

Thanks a lot! I'll have to keep that in mind. Actually, the funny thing is that my creative side jumped again not long after I posted this journal. Weird, huh? It's still not enough to be considered extremely productive, though...
