you know what's funny?
I feel like the mood in which I write something completely changes based on what font I write it in. Actually, my mood towards anything changes based upon what it looks like, it's quite a handicap, really. And I wished I wasn't like that, but oohhh wellll. You know, the font could have something to do with the fact that most formal papers for school are written in times new roman (I don't like typing with that D : ), most informal papers are written in arial/arial narrow, and everything I do outside of school is usually some random comfy font of my own choosing.

I might just have a crazy font obsession, cause I'm pretty sure most people aren't like this? well maybe there are at least a few people out there who are crazy like me. hopefully..?

haha I'd love to know what people's favorite fonts are~ please shaaare! that is, if you have any favorites?

some of my faves include century gothic (so cute, + it's just been there for me foreverr ;w; ), adobe garamond pro (very pleasing to the eye, very solid), lithos pro regular (cool caps FTW) and... err whatever the MB font is LOL < 3

hmm calibri isn't on my list of fonts on wordpad, I wonder why.. ;___; tempus sans is okay though, I guess (: just a bit strange, the way certain letters slant make them clash with other letters at times.

Century gothic too wide? really? it doesn't seem that wide to me. Well maybe it's a tad bit wider than the typical font : O

My favorite font is Boston Traffic >u>; I had to download it...because I generally don't like the fonts that my computers come with D: I REALLY hate Times New Roman, only because I see it so often...arial is all right, I guess...but I know what you mean about the whole font thing : >

bleeechh times new roman is really the worst, I know exactly what you're talking about. If I was a teacher I would make all my students type up their formal papers in Garamond Pro for sure, and less formal papers in something pleasant but readable. haha I'd probably ban the usage of TNR actually (ahaha TEN POINTS OFF for every paper written in that font).

Yes, arial isn't awful, but not good either. I think it's quite dull ;n;

I like using cooper font and impact. But if I'm writing out a long document used for my own personal use, like if I'm typing up storyboards and such, then I use arial black.

Another font I know you'd hate that I like that I forgot to mention is the Old English font. I think it's called blackletter font or something. ^^'

& darnn wordpad (it's like word but less complex) won't accept Mangal for some reason, I guess I'll look it up if I'm ever using word :0

why hate wordpad? it's so nice and free. no stupid restrictions, no squigly lines under words you misspelled, no auto capitalizing and no extra crap on the sidebars... it's perfect unless..

I love the fact that wherever possible, the letters have perfect circles in them... like the a's and o's and d's~

ahh but microsoft sans seems kind of plain to me D; ...at least the version on Wordpad does. It looks at lot like arial.

I hate times new roman. I wish default font was something like Tahoma or Comic Sans. Not special, but sooooo much better than T.N.R.

as for me, I just change fonts according to how plain but kiddish it looks. Don't want fonts making me look like I work for New York Times. lol. (yea, i don't get what I say. :U)

Yes! TNR is really an AWFUL default font. It's so uncomfortable, edgy, completely emotionless, and though I do see why it's wanted for formal papers (at my school at least), I wish they had picked another formal font instead D> I guess there's nothing to do about it now though, it's so built into all the typing softwares (word, publisher etc.)

garamond pro is pretty formal and I like it, they should use that blehhhh
but I would love it if MB's font was used more often, I can't get over how much I like this font (so comfy mmm ;v; )
