Hello there!
Oh, gosh. I haven't been here in months and now I only show up to tell you about this.
I've signed up for the 2012 Out of the Darkness Overnight walk held on June 9 in San Francisco. It is an 18 mile walk to raise suicide and mental illness awareness.
I want to walk for myself, for others who are struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts and for those people around us who are affected by our unstable minds.
Please help me meet my $1000 pledge required for participation.
Every donation, even just a dollar, is greatly appreciated.
The proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, funding research, advocacy, survivor support, education, and awareness programs – both to prevent suicide and to assist those affected by suicide.
I'd also like to bring to your attention that I'll be doing this in cosplay to represent us cosplaying kids, as I know that we get a lot of teasing, pressure and even outright bullying for doing what we love >_>

Finally, if you have lost a loved one to suicide and want them remembered on this walk, just let me know. I plan to wear a board with the names of those we mourn for. You don't have to donate for me to do that.
