ANECDOTE OF THE DAY...ER. CENTURY:
[in which Pavlov relates a story of egg hatred.]

[Y]OU KNOW WOT TIME IT IS KIDS?

THAT'S RIGHT!

IT'S PAVLOV ANECDOTE TIME.

Well, since nothing interesting has been happening to me lately, I suppose I shall relate to you folks the reason why I REVILE eggs so much.

SOOO. Over the summer my mother decides to tear me away from my computer and force me to accompany her to her friends' house. Which is just fine and dandy save for two things.

No cable. And no airconditioning.

NEEDLESS TO SAY. I lapsed into a terrible state of ennui and discomfort. So much so that I decide to plop down and read a children's book. xD It seemed innocuous enough for it was, after all, a Goosebumps book. Egg Monsters from Mars. Even the title tickled my fancy a little.

After half an hour, I come upon a part that just SCREAMED man!rape to me. The character, Dana, was SMOTHERED by egg goop and, although he struggled valiantly for a bit, gave into the "warmth they provided for him." Of course, I dismissed it after a few moments. I am, after all, a lewd, lewd, lewd little man.

That is.

Until I came upon the ending.

At the ending.

Dana.

Lays.

An.

EGG.

laksjdfafklajdf IT WAS THEN THAT MY MIND BLEW UP. MALE PREGANCY. ME BEING RIGHT ABOUT IMPLY'D!RAPE. EVERYTHINNGGGGGG.

I WENT BACK TO FIND ALL THE PHALLIC IMAGERY. THROBBING PURPLES EGGS. LARGE. AND HOT. AND THROBBING.

IT WAS.

HORRIBLE.

Later that night we went out to eat pad thai. Which I could not swallow. FOR. ONCE ONE HAS BEEN TRAUMATIZED. THERE IS NO GOING BACK -SOB-

And yeah and here is proof that such a book exists.

Moral: Don't trust R.L Stine..
