Matt, Imbolc and The Annals of Fear Effect
Posted on 1st Feb at 3:20 AMHappy birthday to the most engaging character in manga: Mr Mail Jeevas! *thunderous applause* I will be writing a story for him. I'll start writing it in a moment.
On a personal level, today is a major Sabbat for my lot - Imbolc. It's a good time for people making fresh starts and sowing the seeds of their future. Yes, I will be job-hunting today (though that's not much different to any other day.
)I'd also like to thank everyone for 70k hits on my profile. That happened a little fast, so I haven't yet finished the competition for the 60k hits. Erm, I don't quite know what to do here. Presumably without a novel being published, I won't get so many hits and therefore will be able to ninja another competition in before the next 10k. I'll host one straight after the deadline for the last one is complete.

I'm also very aware that those people visiting and leaving messages sometimes have to wait a couple of weeks to get a reply. I apologise for that. In way of illustration as to why that happens, I've taken some screenies of the 'Annals of Fear' effect. During the month of January, I was posting the 51 chapters, usually at one a day. That happened both here and at Adult Fanfiction. Also at AFF is a link, that's been there for months, directing people to visit me at MangaBullet.

There were nearly 2500 hits on the novel on AFF alone. Presumably, some of those people subsequently came to MangaBullet, as, for the first time ever, my luring count has beaten the mighty Demi-Luv:

For all of you who joined us recently because of that link, welcome! You'll love MangaBullet, as it's full of Mello and Matt fangirls and boys. If you haven't already found Guns and Games, then I thoroughly recommend that you check it out. If you can't see anything in my gallery, then it's because you haven't changed your settings to view mature content. My gallery is rife with mature content.
Let me know if you need help in how to change your settings. I'm happy to advise.
Where I really noticed the hits though was in my message centre. I did try to keep on top of it, but my hits/response stats might show you why there were so many delayed reactions:

Yes, that does say 550 responses yesterday. I managed to empty the inbox! This is also the reason why I take so long to read other people's fanfiction and look at their art. I've currently got 21 art alerts, many of them fanfiction, and I struggle to find the time between job-hunting, responding here and on other forums, maintaining a healthy Runescape addiction and also writing stories.
I'm not whinging about this. It's a great ego boost! I just wanted people to be aware, so that you're not fretting on why I show up on-line, but don't respond to your message. I do
you, just need a lot more hours in the day!
