MB Fantasia Mini Wiki
Posted on 1st Sep at 4:19 AM
It's awesome to see that MB Fantasia is slowly growing and consistently being active; thanks so much for everyone's participation in it! I seriously wasn't expecting it to grow this big.
But I realized that as more submissions come in, the cluttier it gets and newcomers might have a hard time getting a grasp of what's going on. Since tags is the main way for you to easily navigate through submissions on MB, thought I'd make a little wiki for the many tags (and maybe some extra links) in this project to help out everyone in the MBF navigation.
It's hard to keep ahold of EVERYTHING though so if you think I'm missing out on something, feel free to comment about it!
(Disclaimer: Although I am a mod for MBF, this is still an unofficial mini wiki because I'm making this out of interest rather than obligations for MBF, so I hope you'd understand that I'm not obligated to regularly update this entry either.)

I see people having problems trying to gather permission to draw other people's characters for group artworks, etc especially for the time-limited Battle Phases. I suggest an easy character-using system that people can go by to make things go smoothly:
-
have a line somewhere in your artwork description saying, "feel free to use my character within MF!"
If you're one of the easy-going artists that don't mind seeing their characters being used by other artists as long as you get informed about it afterwards, then say so on your art description.

I'm sure a lot of artists will find that bit of info very helpful.
-
regularly update on your characters' whereabouts
If you have plans on using your character for a certain battle and don't want people to use them on other battles, writing so in your art description or journal would be handy, too.
-
give your character a tag
Artists may get informed of whether their characters are used or not but you never know if other users would like to keep track of fanarts drawn for that character too, so maybe an individual tag for them would be useful too.
