Books: Neal Stephenson, Terry Pratchett, Issac Asimov and um... idk. When I read a Neal Stephenson book, it consumes me for long periods of time, like, years to get through some series. So... he's all I've read lately. The Baroque Cycle (Isaac Newton FTW)
Films: Tim Burton And Wes Anderson

Has anyone here ever been to Yaoi con and if so, is it any good?
Or if you know anyone that went and liked it or didn't like it...
I'm thinking of going because it will be convenient but... idk.

Yes i liek rorita!

I've got this idea formulating in my head and I think I've got it pretty well planned out. I'm going to take elements of his outfits and put them somewhere else, for example the laces of his leather pants are going to tie the back of the bodice together. That sort of thing. I'll make a sketch and post it if I can bully the scanner into working. :)
What I was wondering is if you had any problems or brilliant ideas about the subject, seeing as how you have done it before.

awesome! i was thinking about the laces thing for you this morning. XD

definitely check out gothic lolita and erololi for Mello. however, these are what Misa wears, too, so you may need to get creative. maybe incorporating things that are a little more masculine, like neckties or not a lot of lace, would help. i was also thinking about incorporating gurololi elements like an eyepatch or bandages on the scar side. have you looked at pictures and info sites, or do you need any resources? i'm a "lifestyle lolita" if you will, so i've read, like, everything. XD

also if your Matt needs help, check out punk lolita and pirate lolita. they let you wear stripes! Near is just shirololi, i think you can do pretty much anything for him and it will be cute and not too far off from his character. XD

um.. yes I am horribly uneducated. I would appreciate it very much if you could point me in the direction of a good site or two or eleven that will fix that!

Our Matt is looking more mod then anything else at the moment but it's cool.

My mom took the whole dressing up as a guy thing in stride, but she is utterly perplexed by the whole girl dressing up as a guy dressing up as a girl thing.
Sorry, I'm rambling.
And I have some Greek Mythology definitions that need to write themselves. I'm down to 60! Hurrah!
