Comic Fiesta 09~ 8D
2 months agoHi all! Sorry for the lack of updates, trying to find time to draw >_>
Apparently one of my drawings was deleted for alleged tracing or whatever, but i don't actually care =w= actually it was one of my test oekakis using a mouse, i just wanted to show some friends. For me, it's easier to oekaki using a mouse actually ^^; come to think of it, i havent touched the tablet for a few months now. That's bad. I need to finish my drawings for
Day 1
Sadly to say, I wasn't as excited as last year for the event. Probably the experience at AFA 2009 was too great for me, that CF, which hasn't had any real changes in years, was just an event for me to meet old friends @_@ and cosplay. There weren't proper activities for visitors to engage in, like karaoke (unless you took part in the competitions, which had limited entries). I liked the animation demos, but they shouldn't have held the competitions on the side, it's distracting cause you wouldn't know which one to look at. The overall event is OK (by local standards), but due to the number of booths, it's a bit cramped to walk around @_@
I met quite a number of people, including
Day 2
On the second day, i spent most of the day going around cause my friend from my university came to see me. I wanted to meet Andy from DARUMA, but he wasn't at the booth when i went there. Dei, a cosplayer friend was cosplaying Garland from FF1. He looked EPIC~ 8D Sky, my other cosplayer friend was cosplaying the character from Houshin Engi, and was forced to make toilet jokes on stage. I bought a Cloud drawing from Kame and Usagi, both of whom were at the booth next to
The closure was fun cause we get to sing loudly to popular anime songs, like some Macross Frontier, Suzumiya haruhi songs etc. A lot of people were dancing, and most cosplayers were on stage dancing.Honestly, i couldnt remember much, but it was a relatively fun experience. I can't wait for GACC 2010 in March 2010!
I hope they bring a seiyuu this year! XD
