There are still flooded areas, but everone's slowly picking up and cleaning the mess those bloody typhoons left behind. This is one thing I like about Filipinos: We're generally easy to get up and move on. "Trauma" does not seem to exist in our dictionary.
" title="Muhahaha!" border="0">But! Typhoon Parma is still lurking about in the Northern regions. I think a forming tropical depression is preventing it from leaving. ;__;
Please pray for the safety of the people there! And for Parma to be "released", too!
In a way, I hope this would serve as a wake-up call from Mother Nature to all Filipinos, and for everyone as well.
We only have one world. No one else can help us but each other. Let's treasure this place called EARTH.

.. Bagyong Ondoy (or internationally known as Ketsana) has been the worst storm to have hit our country by far.
I'm lucky enough to only experience 24 hours of no electricity and no network coverage (to contact people via cellphone).
Outside, buildings were literally submerged, a lot of people got stranded, lives were lost.

Just this weekend. It started raining around Friday night, and did not stop until Sunday morning.
Saturday was probably the craziest day for all of us here.

Yeah, it's one of the worst I've seen, too. It was raining since Friday last night, and it only stopped around Sunday morning.
As of this moment, it's raining again. I read that there are two more storms threatening to come.

For the PICCA Festival tho, it's like a series of workshops / lectures / seminars. You'd have to register / pay 1.5K to be able to have access to all of those.
Then, the "Main Event" or overalls of that festival would be on Oct. 18.

If you want to attend certain workshops. Some of them are exclusive for those who registered.But the one on Oct. 18 is free for all to come, tho. Just not sure if you'd have to buy a ticket ( But I think it'll be like that ).

I noticed that once you attend even one convention, you'd get to know of the others -- And I found out that there are actually conventions EVERY MONTH, if not EVERY OTHER MONTH. *0* But for this year, it's become .. Every 2 weeks - 1 month? Lawl.
