Street Fighter is a series of fighting games that was first released in August 1987. Characters from the games are from around the world and everyone has his or her own special moves. As the series grew, so did the amount of playable characters. However, some characters from the previous games did not appear in the newer games. Street Fighter also has their own movies, animated TV series, comics, manga, and card game.
