Recommendations?

Does anyone have any anime recommendations?
I'm not sure what to watch, so what's good?

It depend on the genre you like. What are your favorites?

I just finished Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino and I thought it was incredible(haven't seen the original but I hear they are quite different). No e in was another that I really liked though Haruka can be a bit much. FLCL is my all time favorite, the best, most incredible anime ever. Shigurui "Death Frenzy" was pretty cool but sadly unless they make a second season, there's no end(unless the manga actually ends there, though that seems unlikely.)

Ergo Proxy was another good one, the story progression and plot was one of my favorites. Paranoia Agent was also waaaaaaay ****ing awesome. The original Afro Samurai is great, the sequel is entertaining but nowhere as good, the Animatrix was a pretty cool collection as well.

Things to skip:
Naruto: "I'm a ninja, you're a ninja, we're all ninjas, tee hee hee!"
Inuyasha: "Oh no, we've lost all the shards AGAIN."
Fullmetal Alchemist: "Surely we can fix everything ****ed up by using that which ****ed it up in the first place!"
Blue Gender: "In space, nothing will ever make sense. And there are robots."

I recommend Hayate no Gotoku. Funny stuff.

Ergo Proxy if you like si fi sort of stuff or black lagoon if you like blood shooting blood swearing blood and a little bit of funnyness

Hey man Blue Gender is awesome. Spess bugs roll up humanballs and lay eggs in them.


Watch some Yu Yu Hakusho.

You should watch Trigun or G Gundam.

Most of the older animes are great. A lot of the animes nowadays keep getting worse and worse for some reason...

Uh, D.gray man(i think the manga is way better though)
Fullmetal Alchemist(The first series is different from the manga and the FMA brotherhood follows the manga)
Lovely complex is pretty good if you like comedy and love >,<.

I started watching this awesome anime not to long ago called Bokurano. its one of those psychological sort of anime. i have to say every episode puts me on the edge of my seat. the characters are so real and the whole concept is pretty original. its only 24 episodes so i definitely recommend this for someone who has a moderate amount of time to waste.
