ok just to recap here ... Layra is about to go to school when the news came out announcing that there have been a cane of kidnappings and yet another just the night before. However Layra didn't wish to hear of other peoples struggles so left without noticing that there was a strange man sitting at her kitchen table helping him self to a cup of coffee as everyone else gathered around the t.v to watch the news.



The school wasn't that far away from the house. They moved there for this reason. Well that and some other reasons. Layra , However found that moving was useless. For one she had no friends at all here. Although her mother ensured her she would make friends, this would be true. If Layra was a more open person. Even at her old school back in America, she only had one friend how in the world was she supposed to make another one. Layra sighed she didn't even want to go to this new school.

Layra's new school was not just another school. It was the number one privet school in all great Britain. Also unlike common schools it held grades 5 threw 12th. Not only that but the school offered housing if needed. Leading up to the school there was a line of Cherry blossom trees creating a wonderful peaceful path to school during the right time of year. Not only this but the fact that the housing around the school even kept up their lawns, which made for a wonderful neighborhood. Yet all of this made Layra think of the down side of things , like having to wear a skirt, and going to a school that in her eye's would be full of snobby rich kids because it was a privet school.

However she still new that she was just being difficult. She didn't want to change schools. She Didn't want to move to great Britain , in to the new house or even leave the place of both good a bad memories , her old house, her old neighborhood. She was leaving it all behind. Not like she wanted to, but her mother said it was a chance for a new beginning . Layra had nothing against this, but if she was going to star over, she would like to start over with her father, with her whole family. Her father died 5 years ago, on her own birthday. She was turning eight years old. there was a sound coming from the basement around six in the afternoon. It was scarring her and her guests. So she went to go she what was happening, her mother wasn't home and her father just went down there to fix a few things, but nothing that would make this much noise. Half way down the steps she heard a voice, her fathers voice
"STOP DON'T COME DOWN HERE GO BACK UP STAIRS"
His voice was out of breath she didn't listen she went down stairs to see her father at the mercie of a strange man in a suit, that was now covered in blood. Her fathers blood. Her father hung his head in sham he had failed to do his job of protecting his own family.
" So Your the birthday girl" The strange mans voice was cold and unforgiving he slightly chuckled then turned to revel his gun. "so what do you want for your birthday " the man continued Layra was unable to find words that would fit. She looked at her father also covered in blood.
"let me dad go" Layra said fighting back tears.
" oh my I'm sorry" the man continued his voice still cold and deceiving " I can't do that but what i can do is ensure you that you will be with him for a long time." the man continued " In fact he will met you there I'll let the lady go first like a gentleman should" he told her now raising his gun and about to pull the trigger.
"DON'T" Layra's dad stood up blocking the mans way, however the man had already shoot. Layra's father was no more with them. the guests up stairs shrieked The man grined then walked right passed Layra up the steps and out the back door then steped back in.
"Oh yes i forgot happy birthday. I'm afraid i don't have time to stick around and keep my promise about letting you go with your daddy. But next time i see you i will give you your present." The strange man said, grined and walked out the back door again this time not returning. Layra sat down in the blood of her father and cried until the police came.
