The fact that they weren't so angry with Wammy makes me think that there are redeeming features that we don't know about. He was certainly attentive to L.

TwilightXari Is an innocent who has little grasp of reality

He always was very nice, and I can't imagine him not being perfectly kind to the orphans at all times. I almost think they just didn't realize how much of the system they hated was his doing, since he'd saved most of them from where they were going to end up. *shrug* He wasn't bad, but I don't think he was necessarily a good guy, either, I guess.

I totally agree with you. Wammy got to be 'good cop' to Roger's 'bad cop', that was the difference.
