About me
Is an abnormal Korean girl who writes and draws... a lot.
My official artist name is @vALoN, and I'm an up and coming freelance manhwa artist. I live in a small town a couple of miles outside of Vancouver, BC, Canada. I moved here from Korea in 1997 and I've been living here ever since. I have been a member of deviantART for about three years now, and I recently began accepting comissions.
The color pink is very important to me because so far, it has represented two very important things in my life: anti-breast cancer (the pink ribbon) and Anti-Bullying (Anti-Bullying Pink Day in Canada).
Some of my biggest idols on dA are Kaze-Hime and Son-Neko for art, and G-Force4 for comedy fan-fiction writing.
I'm the abnormal Korean... for a reason! >.<

Atashi no Machi, Ashita no Machi
Posted on 4th Oct at 2:14 PMI feel really attached to this song... that is, "Atashi no Machi, Ashita no Machi" by Takahashi Hitomi. When I try to sing it, I sometimes feel like crying at certain parts. Then I saw the translations for it. Basically it's a song about someone who's running away from home for some apparent reason. It doesn't state exactly what, though... But it is clear that one verse says, "Thank you, I love you, my town || I will try my best || Somewhere beyond these skies."
But it reminds me of the times that I do feel like running away... Just... somewhere else...
Have you ever felt... insignificant in your world? You wanted to run away because nobody seemed to care about you?
That's how I'm feeling right now... I don't know why... but I just do.
But I can't run away. I'm not that kind of a person. Don't get me wrong, a part of me wants to pack my bags and take the Skytrain to a completely different city and just get a job and a house there. Live by my own rules...
But I have school, friends... family. I can't just leave them behind. Perhaps when I'm older...
