Missing Inu Yasha? Well, get a quick fix with the upcoming anime short featuring Rumiko Takahashi's half-dog-demon, half-human character.
Entitled "Black Tessaiga" (Kuroi Tessaiga), it will premiere during the Rumiko Takahashi exhibit of original drawings by the famed manga creator on July 30. Yomiuri TV's anime producer Michihiko Suwa (Inuyasha, Detective Conan, Kekkaishi, Black Jack, City Hunter, Angel Heart) made the announcement in his "Swatch's Anime Diary" ("Suwacchi no Anime Nikki") blog on July 9.
The new anime short is named after the signature sword Inu Yasha weilds. The exhibit, called "It's a Rumic World" will run from July 30 to August 11 at the Matsuya Ginza department store in Tokyo's upper-class Ginza district.
Inu Yasha manga ended in Shogakukan's weekly Shonen Sunday magazine last month. Viz Media distributes manga and anime version of Inu Yasha in North America.
