ADV announced that they will distribute and produce the Princess Resurrection anime series, with Amusement Park Media responsible for the localization. The company will handle the broadcasted side story episode in addition to the DVD-only side story and the twenty-six episode series. ADV plans to air the series on the Anime Network, and will also place the first few episodes online for viewing.

The series is based off of Yasunori Mitsunaga's manga of the same title. The series involves a boy named Hiro who dies whilst looking for his sister. Hiro is resurrected by Hime, the princess of a monster kingdom.
