At Anime Weekend Atlanta, Cartoon Network announced the ending of Toonami, the 11 year action block. The boardcasting will end tonight with an important message, airing in the 10:30-11:00 PM slot. Toonami used to host an abundance of action anime including Dragon Ball Z, Zoids, and Outlaw Star.

I don't think I'll miss it, considering that I never watch it anymore.

Sadly Toonami was crap lately. With only Naruto, they weren\'t going to get anyway.

As sad as I am to see it go, Toonami has been pretty much dead for 4 years now. After they moved it to Saturday Nights it never really recovered. They took down all the great shows, and their replacements were, well, abysmal. So it's probably for the best that they end it now.

As far as I'm concerned, Toonami died when they replaced Tom and Sarah with those robots.

Ah poo. I remember the awesome anime on it. Now Adult Swim does not have all the great anime on it anymore. So sad.
