This is a illustration for my original manga series ~:Millennium Village:~! These are my characters Kikoyan (The pink haired girl, I made this name up in 4th grade, stuck with it ever since XD) and Hiro A.K.A Miso
Kikoyan is a medium and Miso is a samurai ghost. Here's the story behind the picture, I'll just take it from my deviantart.
Story
Kikoyan (pink haired) honestly did not want to be in love or wanted to have nothing to do with it. Eventually her spirit guardian, Miso, confessed his feelings to her and she is angry. She avoids her partner and Miso starts to feel angry yet sad. Finally after awhile, she realizes she has feelings for him but it feels a bit awkward for her to accept them. However she still confesses her feelings to him. Miso is rejoiced and holds her tight. Kikoyan starts to understand slowly what a relationship is and what love is. so the picture is a dream where Kikoyan falls, scared for her life because the abyss does not end. Miso rescues her and she opens her eyes gently to find him protecting her. He gives her a concerned, loving look while she drowsily just gazes at him, grateful that she chose him. Here they commit to each other forever and become each other's protectors.
