all the characters are well-developed and they have their own "background" story
My favorite would be Rock and Revy (smiley)

Roberta is alright but this picture of her is so gorgeous and realistic *w*
i'll probably do more cos i had a massive download of Black Lagoon original art

Oh, about the BG, quite easy and simple
I used some brushes i found online, so most of the brushes are downloaded
(sorry i keep forgetting who i got them from)
but only one type of brush was self-made, see the ones that look like wheels, snowflakes, or some weird star?
i used a filter from "xero" to generate the shapes and developed into a brush (smiley)
