Mello's burn feels like its textured and i do love that its not just this bright red angry flash of a burn, but something that was burned. ~~worked with ovens. and this is the closest i've seen to the color and texture of what burns look like~~ Same with B

I'm adoring Matt's back, hurr.

Yea, that's Naiomi under Light. She was reduced to a mass of black hair and legs under him. :lol:

The burns comment especially makes me happy. We're fond of the more realistic slightly older look rather of the scars than the angry red burns. And as for Matt's back - thanks! :lol:

I was so freaking sore after each pose. :XD:

But it was all about definition, so it was well worth it.

This is a collaboration with Maru-Light

I do realize it's a certain redhead's birthday today. Cheers.

As I realize that I haven't logged onto MB in months. Though, I felt the need to upload this shot here in belated honor of the death dates passed just last week.

Maru and I did not come up with the main posing concept of this image, anyone who watches Showtime's 'The Tudors' as religiously as we do, will recognize the idea from Season 3's DVD set, however we just thought it applied to Kira so well, we had to give it a try. So for the credits, characters from top left: L, Beyond Birthday Mello, Naiomi (under Kira), Light (duh), Matt, from bottom: Takada, Mikami, Misa.

Post production took Maru just about 8 hours to put together. We're quite proud of it.
