ohwow...the shadows are great, and i love the colored version! when i finish lineart, i always think about posting it as is, but im like ahhh i have to color it, because..i think people wont like it as much. lol

hmm maybe you should post some lineart once in a while. I think variety's the key, at least for me -- I like seeing people post different kinds of stuff.

Here's my attempt at some cleaaannnn lineart done in SAI |3 I know the frayed edges of the cape aren't perfect but after a certain point I gave up on touching up every single part ...did I do okay? I think it's cleaner than something I could've done in PS >A<;;
Also, you might've seen this guy in my gallery before... Xavie's from kalibrationltd's Wayfarer story.
I have a colored version (see here) but I liked the plain b&w better. On another note, I feel like I'm posting a lot of art recently .. >A>
