AnimeNEXT
Posted on 5th Jun at 1:01 PMI swear I just wrote up a con post...

As you have already been able to see, no one died at AB and all was well. Shoots were had, Maru got to wear Mr. Panda on her head, and fun was had.

So... next week is AnimeNEXT.
Local, however. Well, used to be more local, but it is moving this year down near where I went to college. Yikes, memories.
Our Steampunk outfits will be back, maybe the geisha wear. I'm thinking of actually bringing something non-DN related (Elf Ducan) to wear part of one of the days to mix it up a bit.
I may upload pics here when I get back. The last two times I tried to upload something to this gallery, it lagged on me, it gave me errors, it did everything imaginable to not let me upload. So I gave up.
For anyone still on DA, there's plenty of action going on over there. Now I should get off my ass, blast the music and start cleaning. Maru's gonna be here in a few hours and tomorrow, StarTwilight will join us for birthday celebrations and Massage Envy.

HAPPY SURPRISE BUTTSECKS DAY!
Just out of curiosity, what sort of chest bindings do you use when dressing up as male characters?
Depends on the clothes involved. I am small enough that for something loose, I can get away with a sports bra. For something tighter, or involving an open shirt, duct tape.
Duct tape? Wouldn't that hurt to remove?
Yes. ^^; It is much worse in the winter. In the summer, body heat loosens up the adhesive, making it a much easier removal. Also, soaking it in the shower prior to removal also makes the process more bearable, but yea, it hurts to remove either way, naturally. But it is the best way I've found to get completely flat and manage open shirt cosplay, regardless of the size of your chest.
Just never use sports tape. That stuff is not meant to come off with body heat/sweat, so you can rip off some skin in the process.

Happened upon your profile here and saw this post. have you thought about this for chest binding? http://www.t-kingdom.com/
They are comfortable and do work if you are already on the smallish side to begin with. This is what I once used for cosplaying male characters.

I know all about them, and because I am already small to begin with, it isn't worth the investment.
Thank you, though

Anda, you're one of the best cosplayers I've ever seen. Your work reminds me that cosplaying is more than just dressing up and running around, you take it seriously and come up with some fantastically creative ideas. I
you and steampunk!Mello.

You make me blush.
Thank you so much dear.

Aw, you're welcome. Just trying to spread the Compliment Day cheer!
So I heard there's an anti-DN cosplayer troll on the loose. And apparently calling them out on said trolling is grounds for being conceited.
I love your cosplay! You do a great job not only with the costumes, but with the angles, lighting, and unique shoot ideas. I'm always really excited when a new batch of pictures come out, as I look forward to seeing what you do next. Anyway, nice job

Thank you so much!!
Of course! You and Maru-Light are some of my cosplay idols ^-^
