RomeoXRomeo - This Was Never Going To Be A Smooth Ride
Posted on 5th Mar at 3:23 PM"I need to do yet more damn paperwork. Gloria had some things for me to sign, but the wording was off... taking far longer than I thought." Reuben gave a deep sigh, looking tired, and a little depressed at the thought of more paperwork. 'Allow me to help you with that.' Felix offered. "You sure? I mean, you don't have other work to do?" Reuben gave a grateful smile. "Thanks, it'd be a great help. It's not really important, but it's just taking time." Felix nodded. 'Happy to help.'
As they arrived back at the Pion household, Micheal turned to the other two, and said, 'Lizzy will want to know what happened. I'll go tell her.' before he went off towards the kitchens. 'After you Reuben.' Felix gestured towards the main study, following Reuben as he ambled inside. He immidiately went over to his desk, pulling forward the files. "These. I think I've mostly re-worded them correctly, but theres still some things. It's just about getting the house to how it used to be, thats all." Felix went into his poket. Last one... 'Let me see...' He moved behind Reuben and placed the crystal at the back of his head. Felix concentrated on the image of Theo. Reuben would not have felt a thing. He wouldn't even notice the change. Adding the twist of Reuben disliking Gyllsternians, he placed the crystal in his pocket. 'This is good work. Well done. You have improved. Impressive.' Turning round, and giving a slight smile to Felix, Reuben noticed the small crystal in his hand, but ignored it. He couldn't help but get the feeling that something was missing, like he had forgotten something important, but he couldn't recall. "It's thanks to you." He said, witha slight puzzled frown. He placed it into his poket. Must give this to Lady Ein... 'I am just doing what every godfather, friend and teacher would do.' "I suppose. But still, without your help..." He gave a slight shiver. "I dread to think where we'd be right now. If it hadn't been for those Gyllensteirnians..." again, that nagging feeling that something was a little off. He ignored it. Probably nerves left over from the council meet.
((DUN. DUN. DUN. Yes, Our beloved Reubs now doesn't remember Theo at all. So sad~ Should be intresting~ ))

Reuben hummed to himself, pleased to find himself wandering round Grimshire for the first time in a long time. He'd finally been given a break from paperwork, and was taking a strol round his old haunt, re-visiting memories. Here was where he and Feiron had that blazing row that ended in them nearly sobbing, and promising never to fight again. Here was where he had been forced to pretend Ein was Grimshire-folk, to protect her from Scavenger kids. Here was where he and a red haired kid ran to- His mind seemed to fuzz, and he shook it, frowning, trying to remember what he had been thinking of. He shrugged it off, and descided to visit his old sleeping space. When he got there, he wasn't surprised to see the tarp gone. The small shelf was still there, as was... a new comer? No, he recognised her. And she was wearing an old hat of his. What was her name? He didn't know. He knew she had been there in the jail cell, but he couldn't remember her. He approached, and gave a warm smile. "Hello."

Yew looked up and squeeked. 'H-Hello.... I, I don't have anything of value... Please sir... All I have is the clothes I wear...' She shook and wimpered as she moved herself into the corner.
Reuben laughed, and shook his head, sitting down not far from her. "Don't panic. I used to live here, s'all." He glanced around. "I like what you've done with the place. It looks good." He msiled reassuringly at her, and leant back on his hands. "Aren't you a bit young to be here on your own?"

'Urch! Dude! You here?' Micheal "Spanner" called out.
Reuben strolled down the stairs looking surprisingly well rested, even humming to himself. "Yeah, what'cha want? Haven't seen ya in a while, buddy."
'Come closer, I can't "see" you if you don't.' Micheal told him.
"What? What are you talking about?" He approached, and stood in front of 'Spanner', tlitling his heasd at the expression on his friends face. "Yo, Spanner, I'm right here, not over there..."

Gloria walked up to the house of Pion. She got out her key... then put it away again. There would obviously be someone there. She opened the door.
Near jumping out of his skin in shock, Reuben stared at the person opening the door in almost terror, until he saw it was only a girl (LOL). "U-uh... Can I help you?" He asked, a little nervously.
'Oh. I came here since I joined Pion the other day... You must be... uhhh... Reuben? The Head?' Gloria looked him up and down. He seemed pretty young to be Head. But then again- no one old would join Pion.
"J-joined...?!" He gave an almost squeak, and hugged her tightly. He almost burst into grateful tears. "THANK YOU! Someone OTHER than that asshole Felix!"

Spanner walked in the house, and slammed the door behind him. The twin maids bowed. 'Welcome back Master Micheal.' Spanner looked at them completly emotionless. 'Don't call me Micheal. Never call me Micheal.' He said coldly, and carried on walking up the stairs to his room, slamming the door shut behind him. The twins symultaniously jumped in the air, scared and worried. They ran away shouting 'Master Reuben!'
Reuben was talking to Lizzy when the twins came running in, screaming his name. "W-what, what is it, what's wrong?" He asked, a little panicked himself.
The shook, hokding eachothers hands. 'Master Reuben.. Master Mich- Umm The Master with an eyepatch is not being himself.' One said. The other nodded. 'He said never to call him Miche- Uhh, by his name again, and proceded to going in his room, slamming the door...' she said. 'We're scared...'
Reuben sighed, and half-ran to Spanner's room. He knocked on the door, and said, "Spanner, open the door, it's me. What's up, man? You're not normally like this."

Greed was heading towards the roumored newly built Pion household in Laventa. She felt edgy, as if she was on enemy grounds as soon as she entered the decadently beautiful city... Her heart was racing as she appoached the front door... Who was the person that had managed to build up the house and even managed to form alliances with the other houses, avoiding attacks from the Gyllenstiernas themselves? She was dying to know as she knocked on the door firmly.
Reuben answered the door as he passed, giving a bright smile to the girl waiting behind it. For once, he wasn't exhausted, yawning, and didn'thave ink on his face. "Hello! Can I help you?"
Upon seeing his face she felt as if she just had been struck by lightning. Those features... it couldn't be any other than him. "You're Reubed?!" she exlaimed, startled but happy.
"U-uh..." Startled that she apparently knew him, Reuben nodded. "Y-yes? Sorry, do I know you?" He scanned her up and down, completely confused.

Val wasn't happy. Spotting the Rainbow Russian a few metres away, he sauntered up behind him, feigning a sweet tone of voice. "Why hello there Matvei. I didn't know you enjoyed playing doctor?" He stood confident, wondering if he would catch on.
"Huh? Oh, hi Val." Matvei frowned, confused. "What? Playing doctor? What are you talking about?" Genuinely confused, he got the sneaking suspicion Val was mad at him. "What is it?"
"I was speaking to Spanner yesterday." He smiled. "And after what was said . . . I'm feeling more and more foolish by the second for admitting that I may have feelings for you."
"What? What are you- O-oh!" Matvei went scarlet, giving a little cough. "I-I didn't expect him to actually carry out that challenge..." He bit his lip, squirming.

Spanner was running around Laventa, like a crazy man. He couldn't believe how fast he was going. Good thing I have been keeping fit while I could. Spanner thought, laughing. He only closed his eye for a moment before, BAM, he hit the crazy raindow fag who was on his way for a delivery. The package went flying in the air. It looked fragile, and spanner quickly froze time, and positioned himself to catch it, then handed it back to Matvei. 'Close call. Sorry bout that.'
"Oh, God, I'm sorry..." Matvei looked more tired than normal, and his hair was down. He gave a weak smile. "Hey Spanner hon. How're you?"
'I'm feeling AMAZING!' Spanner was buzzing with joy. 'Notice anything different? I'll give you a hint.' Spanner jumped up in the air.
"O-oh, you're walking! Congratulations!" He gave a quick look around, then kissed his cheek, smiling. "How did it happen?"

Val had gotten incredibly bored, so he felt it was about time he took a trip into Grimshire. With relative ease, he found the rainbow Russian who was able to entertain him so well. "Oh Mattyyyyy!!!!" He called sauntering up behind him.
Jumping a mile, Matvei felt the stack of letters in his hands begin to flutter away. "Ah! Nooo!!" Chasing after them, he managed to rescue them before they got dirty, then stood frantically trying to put them in order. He managed to scowl at Valentino. "Idiot, look what you made me do!! If any of these had gotten damaged, I wouldn't have gotten paid!"
He flicked his hair dramatically. "Am I really that distracting?"
"Tch." Skating past, Matvei gently stroked Val's hair, then pulled out a handful, inspecting it as he rolled away. "It's dry. You need treatments or you'll lose it all...old man..."

Christina went up to the new house of Pion, and knocked on the door. Seraphina sent her to see if Urchin could be tricked somehow to join her group. 'Kidnapping Theo would make it so much easyer...' she was talkin to herself. Fing, now bigger than Christina, voice rumbling, replied. 'I agree... I would make life so much easyer.' She knocked on the door.
Running past the door with a roll of duct tape, and dripping clothes, Urchin threw up his hands at the knock on the door. "Any other time. Geez!!" He ripped opened the door, then ran back towards the kitchen. "Come on in!! I'm in here!" He yelled as he went. He was soon round under the sink, soaking wet, trying to fix a leak that had somehow covered the floor of the kitchen in about an inch of water. "Sodding pipes..." he muttered, clearly irritated. "Sorry about this, hang on, I'll be out in a sec..."
Christina looked at Fing and nodded. He glowed as she sang, harmonising their magic. The leaking pipe grew back to it's before damaged state. 'Does that help?' Christina asked sweetly.
"Ehh... magic users..." he couldn't help muttering, before wriggling out, and shaking his wet hair. "Thanks. Hang on a sec, I need a towel." He dissapeared, quickly returning with a towel on his head. "So what can I help you with?" he asked, drying off a little.
