Hey guys. I just wanted to post some thoughts that I couldn't get out of my head.
A friend of mine and I were chatting about Humanity.
[No offense to anyone, these are merely my opinions.]

Humanity:

I feel that humanity is not celebrated in the media. Humans are usually the Underdog, the victim to be saved by a super human/God/Demon , or the antagonist.
Humans are vile and filthy creatures ; Greedy and selfish.

That generalization ticks me off. Yes, I acknowledge that these are traits, however. It's not what humanity is.
Why is it that the positive traits of humanity are ignored?
Our ability to love, to prosper, to create, to know, our curiosity. Why is it that these are never touched on?
When has it been a sin to be born human? We are flawed creatures, but those same flaws make us unique,
we are not only greedy, we can be generous,
We can be ignorant or be smart,
we can be vile or clean.

This versatility makes us who we are, and the current smartest beings in the planet. Able to evolve and survive.

I want to know, why is it that the human race is held to be so low?
Is it an inferiority complex?

Why is it that now only the super human and supernatural is praised?
Why is it that Superman gets more praise for his power than a man fending off hoards of animals to save his only child from death?

It makes me angry to see that our abilities as human beings are reduced to merely "We are arrogant and greedy."
People think it's deep, however, I personally think that it is quite shallow.
You never touched on what humans can really be.
