Jenova, I wonder if you've seen the Dead Fantasy series? They're fanmade videos of the FF and Dead or Alive characters. I know they've been out for a while, but I still manage to link them to people who've yet to see them. I just watched III, IV and V and all I have to say is "holy shit!"

There aren't enough hours in the day...but, I'll try.

epic rant/ I abhor Goth Lolita, Loli whatever the fuck you want to call it, I also hate Harajuku and Visual Kei....but if I had to pick my most hated....it'd be Goth Lolita.

Why, because it's butchering Victorian Fashion, seriously, yes, I'm quite aware that there were outfits like that in existence back then but they were for CHILDREN. Not, full grown women, it's kinda like the school girl thing for women but nowhere nearly as annoying.

Colour choices and overall cluttering nauseating design patterns aside, Gothic Lolita for the most part annoys the con...I see girls either in black and white, some girls take the time to make interesting outfits while others buy their clothes from Ebay and you see like 15 girls wearing the SAME dress. There's no gray for the style, you either get it right or you're wrong and from what I've seen from the Gothic hardcore Lolita crowd, you BETTER get it right. :rollseyes:

Then to top it off, you have some girls stuck up in Gothic Lolita that they are some of the most meanest and annoying broads I ever had to deal with.

So, in short, I effin hate Gothic Lolita for those reasons, I love Victorian Era fashion to insane amounts so looking at girls with little skulls or nurses or cat girls wearing spike collars and fishnet, heavy makeup, effin creepy ass ball joint dolls and faux velvet 200 pounds stuffed in waaay too tight bodices....EGAHDHADHADF!

As I said, some outfits and girls are nice to look at, like most cosplay, when it's done right I have no problem. But I will never....EVER draw Gothic Lolita unless the muse calls for it, so far she's been very quiet. No offense to anyone that like Gothic Loli but I don't....ever will.

Lolita fashion is a hit or miss...because Lolita has been lumped into emo territory, I tend to steer clear of it.

Sorry for the rant...I do have some characters that wear Lolita or Lolita themed clothing but that's it....not Gothic, hell, I'm not into Gothic anything, I find it too dark for my palette.

You could, LOL! I wouldn't really mind, there's positives and negatives to everything...if you like it then spill! LOL! I'm not close minded...I just don't 'get it'...then again, I might never get it. Or maybe I'll get it eventually. My friend is creeping her love of dollfies on me and I said to myself that that would never happen to me either.

Life constantly changes, evolves...sometimes it takes time. I didn't mean to rant, but most of my Gothic Loli stuff has been rather poor...maybe a positive will help change that.

I've liked Lolita style for awhile but I've only understood the wide range of it in the last year or so. Personally for me I prefer handmade Lolita, stuff people create on their own. Bought stuff is nice but it does tend to looks all the same after awhile and way too EXPENSIVE. To me it's like cosplaying (I'm gonna get shot by some Lolita for saying that :owo

it you don't put in the effort to really make it your own and enjoy it, don't do it at all.

On a related not, people who half-ass their cosplay outfit make me die inside.

I conceded to something that I never thought that I would concede to last night...

Cloud and Tifa are screwing....

I mean like in the Case of Tifa, they're sleeping in the same room but it doesn't say whether they're sleeping in the same bed or not, but in the movies there's only one bed in Tifa's room so.... Yeah....

And that's the reason Sephiroth comes back in Advent! He's jealous! He must get his Cloud back!! (hahaha kidding!!~~maybe~~)

I didn't like Tifa in FF7.... but then AC made me like her a bit more, then my friend started swaying me more towards to liking her, and now I actually like her instead of thinking her as a clingy bitch. I think reading Case of Tifa helped a lot too.... though I ended up sympathizing more with Cloud in it then her...
