Embedding Twitter on MB Using Flash RSS Reader[s]

After registering for MB, I've been trying figure out how exactly can you embed flash properly on the site. Most widgets I've found are either programmed using Javascript or Ajax. The official Twitter widget doesn't work, so I tried embedding various Twitter flash widgets, with and without the Flashvars values. No luck. The output is always disappointing. Thinking for a few more minutes, I remember that we can access our twitter RSS directly, so I started looking for ready-made flash RSS feed generator. I don't feel like making one of my own just because of something so simple.
Well, there are many that I found on the net. My favourite is
TwitterPin and
Nitwpress because they're so cute. Nitwpress even pulls your Twitter background to wrap around your userpic. The problem? Both of them aren't compatible with Mangabulet BBcode. Since MB is not equipped with the custom twitter BBcode, I need to find something that works. I didn't give up and kept searching.
The one that I found to be working without hiccups is the flash rss reader by Sanrio Town which you can find ->
here<-. Minimal styling support, but I was aiming for simplicity anyway. It's showing prettily on my profile now. In case you couldn't see it, here's how it looks like:
It's not so pretty, but I love it (except for the shiny, colourful mandatory branding there). Here's the code I'm using (change {} to [] to make it work):
{flash}{vars=rss=http%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fstatuses%2Fuser_timeline%2F81426441.rss&count=100&bgcolor=#FFFFFF&color=#000000&titlecolor=#000000&titlebgcolor=#FFFFFF&fontsize=12&summary=0&sumlen=0&showTime=1&bullet=0&border=0}http://rsstool.sanriotown.com/rssReader.swf{/flash}
It's perfect if you're like me who can't seem to part with my Twitter accounts XD If anyone finds good flash RSS readers that works just as fine, hit me anytime. I'd love to give them a try and see if they're MB bbcode compatible ;)
... at least until the wonderful MB staff come up with their awesome workaround for embedding flash/twitter in the future~
